A few years back, when my body finally connected with my mind, they conspired on their favor, reason why I started searching for “something” else. I didn’t know what it was exactly, I just knew it needed to be something for their benefit and the search began.

It’s when I found Valeria Lozano from Habitos in 2014. I started implementing little by little the habits she was recommending on her Facebook page. And guess what? Those habits, the new habits I took, have been giving me lots of benefits, so many that for the first time in my life I started feeling better into my skin.

Does this happen to you? Not being able to accept who you really are! And isn’t that stupid? We are not avatars who can choose and change bodies whenever we want, even though if you think about it’ll be awesome… we are what we are, period.

We do not accept or love ourselves enough. And unfortunately, we wait for an extreme situation or health issue to do something about it.

So, what if I tell you that when you start listening to your thoughts (yeah all that crap, and I say crap because unfortunately, we don’t speak nicely to ourselves) when you listen to your body, when you sense your feelings and emotions, etc. everything changes. Why? because our body is extremely wise.

Habits, those that we do 40% of our day on autopilot, those are the ones defining our lives.

And I have awesome news for you, YOU CAN CHANGE THEM.

Yes, it takes effort; yes, it takes time; yes, you might get out of the wagon and get back in; yes, you might be judged by others (who isn’t?); yes, you might die anyway; yes, you’ll start seeing the changes in your body; yes, you’ll start feeling the changes on your mindset (oh yeah!); yes, you will start listening to your thoughts; yes, you might be able to start controlling your ego; yes, you will start feeling so great that you won’t believe it, until you really feel it from the core of your being, and it feels so awesome that you will continue to improve yourself forward, always forward.

Believe me, it feels so great, I’ve already lived it and keep living it every day!

My morning habits, the ones I share here in the Wellbeing Project (by subscribing to my newsletter) are the base of my day, are the ones that make me see and feel the day in a simple way. Why? Because they make me feel light and centered and nourished and it just the beginning of my day!

I invite you to implement one of the morning habits into your daily life.

Drinking water right after waking up, meditation (this is the one that changed my life completely and that’s a long story for another occasion ;), hot water, a ginger shot, a green juice, a smoothie. Adopt and/or create the habits that feel good for you, the ones you can implement easily to your lifestyle.

The ones that will make you feel great into your own skin. The ones that will help you accept and love yourself, and when this happens you’ll be able to accept and love others more easily… it’s a win-win.
